Working with Guthrie actor and voiceover artist, James Cada, Gary Bingner was asked to guest lecture at Mr. Cada's voiceover class, held at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.

"I love coming in and working with budding voiceover actors," explains Gary. "It's fascinating to learn what motivated them to take a voice acting class in the first place.  Their motivations are so varied and fascinating."

Because Gary has experience from "both sides of the class"--as a writer/producer who hires talent as well as a working VO guy himself--he can bring a unique perspective to the class.

"I like to bring in some microphones and digital recording gear and let the students do some practicing," adds Gary.  "There's nothing like sitting down with some actual commercial scripts and seeing what the students can do."
